DEVO. 04.20.26
“The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.” (Psalms 34:19 NLT)
- Have you faced trouble?
- Not just one set of trouble, but many troubles?
- The Amplified says it like this, “Many hardships and perplexing circumstances...”
- Maybe you can identify with that!
- It seems like one set of circumstances is met by another set of frustrating circumstances.
- Let me encourage you today to not get frustrated and don’t give up.
- Psalm 34:17, tells us “When the righteous cry [for help], the Lord hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles.”
- Don’t tell your friends about your trouble expecting them to fix it.
- First, go to the Lord!
- It says “WHEN the righteous cry for help...”
- “When” means that you have to open your mouth and call on His name.
- It doesn’t have to be a fancy prayer with special words.
- A simple “God Help” prayer will work.
- He hears that prayer. He cares, and He will help!
- Verse 17 says , “He rescues them from all their distress and troubles.”
- “All” not “some”
- This isn’t partial help, this is full deliverance!
- Hold God to His Word!
- He is the one who said it and He will do it!
- Don’t be surprised when you face troubles. All of us do and all of us will.
- But when you face trouble, immediately call on the One who says He will rescue you each and every time.
- He is listening, today, and He hears and rescues!
- Have a great Monday!
