DEVO 02.17.24

DEVO. 02.17.24

"Look! He has placed the land in front of you. Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’ (Deuteronomy 1:21 NLT)

- Has God placed a vision or a dream in your heart?

- Are you holding on to any of His promises?

- Our God is a "Get up and Occupy" God.

- He doesn't want you to remain stagnant in your Christian walk or remain the way you are.

- He doesn't want you to just "Look at" or dream about the plans He has for you.

- The comes a time where you must "Go and Occupy"

- If He is an "Occupying" type of God then we are an "Occupying" people.

- There are lives you need to touch

- People you need to influence

- Healing's that need to take place

- Victories that need to occur

- What is the next step that you need to take?

- Don't let fear or discouragement set in.

- Don't worry about what people will say or think.

- Don't worry about how you look.

- If God has promised something to you, you don't need to be afraid.

- Rom. 8:37 says, "You are more than a conqueror and have gained a surpassing victory through Christ."

- Don't worry about past failures or past mistakes.

- Don't let your past define you.

- You are defined as a New Creation in Christ.

- In Isaiah 43: 18 God tells His people, "Forget what happened long ago! Don't think about the past. I am creating something new. There it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands."

- In the desert places

- In the place of your failure

- At the places that you gave up in the past

- and In the places of your greatest fear, you are called to occupy.

- Take back what the enemy has stolen from you!

- This is a new day and a new hour

- Tell yourself today, "I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."(Phil4:13)

- In other words - there is NOTHING you can't do!

- You cannot lose!

- Look at Him; The One who empowers you!

- Now, Get up and Occupy!

- Have a great Weekend!
