DEVO. 05.27.26

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

- Do you know that every time we hand out the Bible, we are handing out the Power of God!

- The apostle Paul says that the Gospel is the Power of God!

- The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ.

- It’s like handing out sticks of dynamite and a match.

- The dynamite is potential power.

- The match is the igniter.

- You can choose to light it or not but the potential is still there.

- I can hand someone a stick of dynamite but I can’t make them light it.

- Just like handing people a Bible. I can hand them the word of God but I cannot make them read it!

- The Bible contains words of blessing, but only you can speak them.

- It contains words of healing but only you can release them from your mouth.

- The Bible shows you how to prosper but it can’t force you to prosper.

- Joshua 1:8 says, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

- ‭‭Here is the key, Keep the Word of God on your lips!

- Store it up in your heart and speak it out of your mouth.

- Let there be a continual stream of storing it up and then releasing it out.

- Strike the match and light the dynamite.

- If you stop storing it up then you will have nothing to release.

- Don’t let your Bible sit on a shelf.

- Open it up, read it, speak it, pray it, believe it!
