DEVO. 10.03.26

“Not a single one of all the good promises the LORD had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.” (‭‭Joshua‬ ‭21‬:‭45‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- You can hold onto Gods promises!

- His word is His oath!

- Even in 2Timothy 2:13 it says, “If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.”

- ‭He IS Faithful! That’s who He is!

- So when you see a promise in the Word of God, you can grab ahold of that promise because that is Truth!

- He will never let down His side of a promise!

- In Joshua 21, the children of Israel had gone in to the promised land just as God told them.

- They defeated their enemies just as God had said.

- In verse 43 it says, “So the LORD gave to Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there.”

- ‭‭They were taking possession of Gods promises!

- That is a physical picture of what God can do for us in a spiritual way, today!

- When Jesus comes into your life, He wants to clean out all the areas of your life that have left you trapped and in bondage.

- If it’s a habit, an addiction or a stronghold, the Lord wants to set you free!

- He wants to take over your thoughts and the words that come out of your mouth!

- Jesus came to redeem you and cleanse you!

- And just like God wanted to kick out all of the enemy out of His promised land, the Lord wants you to chase the enemy out of all the areas of your life!

- In 2 Corinthians 10:4, the Apostle Paul says, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

- “Every thought” not some thoughts!

- The Lord wants to bless you but He also wants you to kick the enemy out of every part of your life and allow Him to be truly Lord over every part!

- Today, you can hold onto the promises of God!

- Kick out the lies of the enemy and pull in the promises of God!

- He is faithful!

- Have a great weekend!
