DEVO 05.20.26 (Part 1)

DEVO. 05.18.26

“But Jesus said, “You feed them.” (Mark 6:37)

- Have you ever felt like you don’t have the resources to do what Jesus is asking you?

- Have you ever felt empty handed?

- Have you ever felt like the crowd is too big, the resources are too small?

- Jesus looks at the crowd, and then He looks at the disciples.

- They are wanting to send everybody away.

- Instead, Jesus says, “You feed them”

- I love their response. “With what?” they asked. We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!””

- They can’t see what Jesus sees.

- All they see is a problem, and Jesus sees the solution!

- They are part of the solution!

- Jesus knows that these people need to experience a miracle!

- The time is at hand.

- They are out of food & stores and all they can think of is what they don’t have.

- Focusing on what you don’t have will always limit your ability to see and receive more!

- Jesus says, “You feed them” and they think “We can’t” and Jesus knows “They will!“

- The question is, this morning, what do you see more of?

- Do you see more of what you don’t have or can you see the provision?

- Can you see the multiplication of the little that you do have? The five loaves and 2 fish?

- You see, the little that you do have has to come through the hands of a miracle working God!

- Mark 6:41 says, “Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied,”

- Jesus took the little they had and blessed it, and with that blessing the needs were met!‭

- Today, can you take the little that you do have and place it in the hands of Jesus?

- When anything passes through His hands and His blessing, it will multiply and meet your needs and the needs of the people that you are ministering to!

- Take what you’ve got and give it to Jesus!
