DEVO. 04.19.24
"For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things." (Psalms 81:10 NLT)
- Have you made room for God in your life.
- He says, "Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things."
- He says, "Open Wide!"
- Stretch your mouth open as Wide as you can!
- I have a picture in my mind of feeding my daughter, Adeline when she was a baby.
- I would tell her to "Open Wide" and then I would try to get as much in as possible because I didn't know how many times she would do it.
- God wants you to prepare your life for the miracle he has for you, just like that.
- He is saying, "Get ready, Here it comes - I am going to overload you with my blessings, favor and grace."
- He says, "I am going to fill you with My goodness!"
- God wants you to prepare to receive a miracle.
- He wants you to be ready to receive the breakthrough that you desire and need!
- He says, "I will fill it with good things." - Not bad things.
- Adeline would make a face and spit out the baby food if it tasted nasty and she didn't like it.
- Well, you don't have to worry about that, God never gives you anything bad.
- He says, "You can trust me! You can open up wide, because I am only going to give you good stuff!"
- James 1:17 says, Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light.
- Prepare yourself for every Perfect, Free, Large and Full Gift!
- Maybe you've experienced rejection or disappointment.
- Maybe you've had great loss.
- Don't let that loss or disappointment affect your mindset.
- Tell yourself, Things will not remain this way.
- This is not permanent. It's only a temporary setback.
- It's preparation time - God is getting your prepared for His blessing.
- Don't begin to expect anything less than God's best!
- Prepare yourself...
- Begin to expect and look for Gods abundant provision and blessing in every area of your life!
- Physically, mentally, financially and emotionally. God wants to fill you with His Best!
- 1 Cor. 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
- Prepare for what you haven't seen!
- Get ready for what you can't even imagine!
- Turn to God this morning - pursue Him and begin to prepare yourself for His abundant blessing.
- He is the Source that every blessing flows from.
- Open Wide!
