DEVO. 11.21.25

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

(Psalms 119:11 ESV)

- What kind of things do you store up?

- Things that you will need later and things that you can't live without.

- If you find out that there is going to be a shortage of water, it would be wise for you to store up jugs of water so that there are available when you need it.

- That's what God's Word is like.

- We should all be regularly memorizing God's Word and storing it up in our heart.

- Without His Word, you are bankrupt.

- Without His Word you are lost.

- Without His Word you are blind.

- Psalm 119:105 says that His "word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

- Psalm 119:165 says that "if you love His Word, you will have great peace and will not stumble.

- There is not one thing that could hurt if you memorize God's Word, but if you choose not to, you can suffer great loss.

- If you are not memorizing it, then you must have decided that you can live without it.

- According to Psalm 119:11, it can keep you from sin.

- To "sin" is to miss the mark, or miss the bullseye.

- The bullseye should be a right relationship with God.

- To really know Him and His ways.

- To know His best for your life and to walk in it.

- God has a best way for you to go and the best plan for you.

- 1 Cor. 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

- The way to God's best is to get His Word in you!

- Memorize it.

- Meditate on it.

- Dwell on it.

- Eat it.

- You are going to need it and you can't live without it!

- Have a great weekend!
