DEVO. 04.13.26

“When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord.” (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34‬:‭29‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Moses had just spent 40 days in the presence of the Lord and he was radically changed.

- 40 days of no distractions.

- 40 days of intimacy.

- 40 days of no schedule to keep up with.

- 40 days of just Him & God.

- 40 Days with Love.

- 40 days with Peace.

- 40 Days with Joy.

- And his face became radiant!

- It was actually glowing!

- Now, I know that this is extreme but it definitely shows us one thing.

- Spending time in the presence of God changes you!

- Any amount of time spent with Him will change you!

- That is why it is so important to spend time with the Lord each morning!

- Because, the opposite is also true!

- The amount of time that you don’t spend with the Lord changes you!

- Spending time with Him will make you more sensitive to His voice.

- Spending time without Him makes you hard-hearted and self-centered.

- When you get alone with Him in the morning, you may not even be aware of how much it changes you, just like Moses coming down the mountain, but everyone else will notice.

- When you get alone with Jesus and make a relationship with Him a priority, you will glow with His presence!

- Your life will begin to reflect the fruit of the Spirit!

- You will begin to have more “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” in your life. (Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22-23)

- Today, set extra time aside to spend time with Him.

- Anytime you begin to become critical, bitter, resentful or jealous of others, let the alarm bells go off which reminds you to come back to the Lord and get alone in His presence.

- Let Him change you today!

- Have a great Monday!
