DEVO. 11.20.25

“Blessed is the one …whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

- Do you know that the blessing of the Lord is just one choice away?

- If you want the Lord's blessing, all you have to do is delight in the Law of the Lord or “God’s Word.”

- The Amplified says, “He [habitually] meditates day and night.”

- It’s the person who makes a daily habit out of diving into God's Word!

- Not a once a week thing but an every day thing!

- Day & night, night and day!

- Not just reading it but really meditating on it!

- Studying God's word and the effects of God's word.

- Reading and re-reading!

- Those who are blessed by God not only turn from evil but build their lives around the words of the Lord!

- This person seeks to obey God's will out of hearts that genuinely take pleasure in God's ways and His commands.

- It’s using God's Word for wisdom & insight.

- It’s turning to His Word for healing and help.

- It’s seeking His presence through His words!

- Joshua 1:8 says, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

- ‭‭The same words that God gave Joshua are the same words that David quotes.

- Meditate on it!

- Dwell on it!

- Dont just read it but test it and try it!

- Once you test it and try it, you will prove it to be true!

- Proverbs 30:5 says, ““Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.”

- ‭You may be discouraged or in need of help. But, no matter what the problem, use God's Word for your help!

- There is a guarantee that you will be blessed & prosperous!
