DEVO. 11.17.25

“Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

- Above all, lift up and hold up your Shield of Faith.

- In other words, faith is your covering!

- Faith covers and protects you against the lies of the enemy!

- Faith is both an offensive weapon and a defensive weapon.

- You are saved by grace through faith.

- Ephesians 2.8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

- ‭‭it is BY GRACE through FAITH!

- You need both!

- You can’t have one without the other.

- Grace is God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ.

- Faith is your response to His grace.

- “Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭)

- FAITH is an action word!

- Faith is revealed by acting on what you say you believe.

- This faith is what you lift up over every piece of the armor that you carry!

- With faith “you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

- Every attack and every arrow is put out with your faith!

- So today, put on the Belt of Truth. Wear the Breastplate of Righteousness. Put on the Shoes of Peace. But hold up faith over them all!

- Start your week fully dressed and fully covered in God's armor!
