DEVO. 11.15.25

“It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac,” (Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- How important is your faith?

- Remember Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

- ‭‭Faith is both confidence and assurance!

- Faith is foundational!

- Here are a few examples from Hebrews 11:

- “It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice…”

- “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.” (v. 20)

- “By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped…”as he leaned on the top of his staff.” (v. 21)

- “By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus…” (v. 22‬)

- “By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born…” (v.23)

- “By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter…(v. 24‬ ‭NIV)

- “By faith Moses …thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward.” (V. 26‬)

- Hebrews 11 goes on and on giving one example after another…”It is by faith!”

- Today, what is your faith saying to those around you, because your faith speaks!

- Your faith is evident in your habits, your mindset and your speech!

- Your Faith shows whether you believe in yourself or God!

- It is through faith that you have the victory in Christ Jesus!

- Today, let your faith in Him show the trust and commitment that you have in Him.

- Let everything that you do, be done in faith!
