DEVO. 11.10.25
““Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; He snapped their chains.” (Psalms 107:13-14 NLT)
- When Gods people find themselves in trouble and bound in chains, the Lord is the true chain-breaker!
- Actually, this translation says that He snaps them!
- Chains are seen as the strongest way to lock something up and secure it.
- Chains can trap and secure someone in place.
- What are your chains?
- What has you trapped mentally, emotionally, physically, financially or spiritually?
- You could have chains of depression or anxiety.
- You could have chains of a physical addiction.
- You could have chains of financial debt.
- You could have chains of physical sickness.
- No matter what your chains are, they do not have to be permanent!
- The key to unlock the chains that bind you is Jesus.
- He can lead you out of darkness and into His light!
- He can bring freedom to your soul.
- In order to snap something, you need tremendous force and power.
- That’s the power of our Lord.
- Your chains may have held you down for years but they are not unbreakable!
- Tell the enemy that today is your chain- snapping day.
- All you need to say is, “Lord help!”
- Admit that you can’t but you know He can!
- He has the power to beak every chain and free every prisoner!
- He promises to save you from your distress!
- Today, if you find yourself in trouble, call on His name.
- Admit your weakness and rely on His strength.
- Today is the day to snap those chains with the tremendous force and power of the mighty presence of Jesus!
- When Jesus steps into the room, chains fall off!
- The Lord will lead you from the darkness and deepest gloom; and snap those chains.
- Today step into the complete freedom that only He can bring!
- Have a great Monday!
