DEVO. 08.05.25

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- This Psalm is a promise from the Lord!

- It says, the Lord does not abandon those who search for Him.

- Not just anyone but those who “Know His Name”

- To Know His Name doesn’t mean that you have a “head knowledge” of Him.

- To Know His name means that you have a trusting intimate relationship with Him.

- To Know Him means that you have experienced Him and His mercy

- It means that you don’t just know that He is Jehovah Jireh, but you know Him as your personal provider because He has provided for you over and over again when you had nothing!

- You don’t just know that He is Jehovah Rapha but you know Him as your personal healer when you were sick and there was no cure and He personally touched and healed you.

- You don’t just know Him as Jehovah Shalom but you have experienced the Peace that He brings when your life has been in the middle of the storm and chaos!

- You know that you can trust Him because you truly know Him and have experienced Him.

- And He promises that He will never abandon those who search for Him!

- Today, recall all the times when you were in need and He stepped in and provided for your need!

- Philippians 4:19 says “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

- ‭‭Your need was an opportunity for you to come into a deeper relationship with Him and develop a greater trust in His name!

- Have a great Tuesday!
