DEVO. 07.25.25

“In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.” (Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭6‬)

- Who do you go to when you face trouble?

- Who do you turn to for help?

- Do you turn to friends or a relationship?

- Do you turn to a bank account?

- Do you turn to a counselor?

- David said, “In my distress I called to the Lord”

- When you have exhausted every other option, you can still turn to the Lord!

- He is there!

- The Lord is your helper! Whether you turn to Him right away or you wait until you are at your end! He is still loving and He still answers!

- Verse 6 says, “From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”

- Your cry reaches His ears! He hears the cry of all of His children and He has compassion on you!

- As a matter of fact, He wants to hear from you!

- Verse 28 says, “My God turns my darkness into light.”

- He can turn any dark situation into light.

- He can turn hopelessness into Hope.

- He can turn death into life!

- He can keep your lamp burning! That means that he can reignite your passion and fire for Him!

- There is nothing, today, that is impossible for God!

- David says, “With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”

- Even when the odds are stacked against you!

- Even when your problems seem insurmountable.

- Today, agree that your God is the same God as David and if God to do it for Him then He can do it for you!

- Today, you can scale any wall!

- Today, your giants are defeated!

- Just call on His name and invite Him into the problems that you face.

- Verse 35 says, “You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great.”

- “You have given me your shield of victory.”

- That’s means, it’s already done!

- You have already overcome!

- ‭There is nothing that my God cannot do!

- He is the God of the breakthrough!

- When you call, He answers!

- Act as if the battle is already won!
