DEVO. 06.18.25

"And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth." (John 17:3 NLT)

- Do you know Jesus?

- I mean, not just know about Him or go to church and hear a message, but do you know Him?

- This is the most important question you could ever be asked, and your answer is critical.

- Eternal life does not begin "someday", and it is not something that you wait to think about at the end of life.

- Eternal life, according to this verse is found through knowing Jesus

Christ.

- Eternal Life can begin now!

- You discover what life is really all about.

- You find out what it's like to really live life to the fullest.

- It's choosing to live, not just exist.

- It's choosing to live by letting Christ live through you.

- "To Know" means to perceive, recognize and become aquatinted with.

- The apostle Paul said in Phil. ‪1:21‬, "For to me, to live is Christ…”

- It's about a real personal relationship.

- Relationships are progressive.

- That means that they are meant to grow!

- Are you growing in your relationship with Him?

- Do you know His ways?

- Do you involve Him in every aspect of your life?

- It's loving what He loves and hating what He hates.

- It's having His heartbeat.

- I encourage you, today, to make the decision to really know Him.

- Choose today to remove all distractions, no matter what they are, and pursue the most important relationship you could ever chase after.

- It may mean getting up earlier.

- It could mean turning "off" your cell phone for an hour.

- It could mean powering down your computer or tuning off the radio

or TV.

- Take some time today to "Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10)

- Evaluate your Love Relationship with Jesus.

- Be intentional about knowing Him, because He was very intentional

about making a way for you to find Him.

- He is in love with you.

- He gave His life for you.

- He chose you first!

- Respond to His love.

- Eternal life begins now.
