DEVO. 05.12.25
“Then Deborah said to Barak, “Go! This is the day the Lord has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the Lord gone ahead of you?” So Barak went down Mount Tabor, with ten thousand men following him.” (Judges 4:14 NIV)
- Timing is everything!
- Ecclesiastes 3:1 says that “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:”
- It goes on to says, “a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,”
- The important thing is to know God’s time.
- You cannot be planting during a reaping season.
- If you don’t know God’s time, then you are going to be on the wrong time and everything will be “off time”
- If you are “off time”, you will never be “on time”
- Those who are “off time” are late and miss their moment!
- Deborah knew Gods time because she knew the Lord and walked with the Lord.
- “Deborah said to Barak, “Go!” This was His time.
- He had to seize the moment!
- When Barak moved in Gods time, He walked into victory!
- The same is true for you!
- God has a time for you to rest and a time for you to jump into action.
- Deborah told Barak, “The Lord has given Sisera into your hands.”
- “Has given” means that it has already happened.
- In the natural it was not a good time.
- “Sisera summoned …all his men and his nine hundred chariots fitted with iron.”(Judges 4:13)
- 900 chariots fitted with iron!
- Barak did not have any iron chariots.
- He was outnumbered and outpowered!
- But God’s ways are not man’s ways!
- The key is knowing God!
- When you know God you will know His timing.
- It doesn’t matter what it looks like in the natural when you serve a supernatural God!
- Today, God sees far beyond the roadblocks and obstacles that stand in your way!
- Get close to God in your prayer time and ask Him to help you see what you do not see!
- His way and His timing is best!
- Have a great Monday!
