DEVO. 03.06.25

“When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on. (‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- There is a time to be at the Mountain of the Lord.

- There is definitely a time to be in His presence to learn and mature.

- There is a time to fill up on His presence and grow in wisdom!

- But there is also a time to go!

- There is a time of staying, where you know it’s “long enough.”

- It’s long enough, being in one place surrounded by the same people and the same influences.

- It’s long enough thinking about “action” until you actually have to act.

- The filling up is for a purpose.

- We love the times of staying at the mountain and recieving from the Lord but we can never forget that, that has a purpose.

- God did not create you to be a spiritual glutton, filling up on one message after another and never releasing it.

- Ecclesiastes 3: 1 -2 says, “For everything there is a season a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.”

- Just as there was a time to be at the mountain of the Lord, there was also a time to break camp and move on!

- There is a time to give and a time to pour into others.

- There is a time to serve!

- Today, ask yourself the question, “Have I been pouring into anyone else?”

- Ask yourself if you have been giving?

- Jesus created you to be a disciple. A disciple’s job is to disciple others.

- Jesus says, in Matthew 28:19, “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

- You cannot go and stay at the same time.

- We must Go.

- We must share.

- We must spread the love of Jesus and disciple others.

- It’s not called the great suggestion, it’s called the great commission.

- Step outside your comfort zone and use what you’ve got, to touch the life of someone else.

- It could be a kind word or a kind action but simply start somewhere and do something.

- When you do, you will realize the meaning of Acts 20:35, when it says, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

- Today, don’t stay, Go!

- Have a great Thursday!
