DEVO. 01.27.26

“Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.”” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭30‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Then!

- When?

- When their faith and belief matched His ability.

- These were two blind men who were following after Jesus.

- They had heard that He was the Messiah and that He could heal.

- He had just healed a woman who was stuffing with constant bleeding for 12 years.

- Then He went to the home of a synagogue leader to heal his 12 yr. old daughter who was believed to be dead.

- The funeral procession had begun and Jesus stepped in and ruined a perfectly planned funeral!

- He said, “She’s not dead, she is only sleeping”

- While the crowd was outside, Jesus took her by the hand and she stood up and declared that the funeral was officially canceled!

- Verse 27 says, “After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!””

- ‭‭Then Jesus asks the all important question! He says “Do you believe I can make you see”?

- It doesn’t matter is Jesus is able, if you don’t believe!

- What He needs is your belief!

- The response of the blind men was, “Yes, we do!”

- Their response led to their healing!

- How about you?

- What are you believing Jesus for, today?

- He needs you belief that He can do it.

- Do you believe that He can Heal your sickness?

- Do you believe that He can reset your body and emotions?

- Do you believe change can give sight to your blindness?

- Do you believe that He can put your broken pieces back together?

- Jesus response to the blind men is His same response to you, “Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.””

- ‭‭Today put your faith in the hands of your healer and Restorer

- Believe that He is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” )Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬)

- Don’t doubt, just believe and watch what He does!
