“Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!”

(‭‭Luke‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- All you need today is just a touch from Jesus!

- Here is a woman who had been bent over for 18 years and was unable to stand straight.

- 18 years! Think about that!

- 18 years of pain! 18 years of being identified with her condition.

- 18 years of not just a broken back, but broken spirit.

- 18 years of hope that had been broke.n

- 18 years of being held in bondage by Satan!

- Jesus said in verse 16, “This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”

- ‭And it only took one touch from Jesus!‭

- Sometimes we give more power to the enemy than we give to Jesus.

- We would say, “ If she has been sick for 18 years then it’s gonna take a long 10-step program to set her free”

- Or, “she has to go through therapy for 6 month.s”

- And then she won’t really be free. She has to take baby steps and she’s got to identify herself with that sickness and confess that sickness the rest of her life!

- But not with Jesus!

- With Jesus, it just takes one touch!

- One real encounter with Jesus!

- No therapy!

- No 10-step program!

- No system to follow!

- One touch that breaks every chain of bondage!

- How about you? Have you been trapped?

- Have you been stuck in addiction?

- Have you been wrestling with depression and anxiety?

- Have you been struggling under the label of a sickness or something that has no cure?

- Throw the doubt and disbelief away!

- Just one touch from Jesus can cure you, deliver you, and heal you!

- One real encounter!

- Let the Spirit of Christ do in you what no manmade system can do!

- John 8:36 says, “If the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.”

- ‭‭When you receive a touch from Jesus there will be no question about it!

- And what was her response?

- Praise!

- Jesus’ touch always results in praise
