DEVO. 08.07.25
“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
(Romans 12:12 NLT)
- Have you been facing trouble?
- Have you let it wear you down and wear you out?
- When you are going through trouble, let this scripture be your filter.
- Don’t let let troubling times discourage you or affect your attitude.
- Don’t let trouble steal your hope or your joy.
- First, Remember your confident hope!
- Your hope is in the Lord, He is the one who can help you through trouble!
- Psalm 121:2 says, “My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
- Not only did He create all things but He also gave us Jesus as our savior and Messiah.
- Jesus is the one who conquered death and defeated sin!
- Our confidence is in Christ! Because of Him, we have hope!
- That is why we keep on praying!
- We pray because He can turn any trouble into triumph!
- We pray because He can give peace in the middle of the storm.
- We pray because James 1:17 says that, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights”
- We pray because it gives us access to His presence!
- We pray because Romans 8:31 says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” And verse 37 says, “Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”
- This gives us Hope!
- Our Hope is in Christ and through Christ.
- This world is temporary but life in Him is eternal!
- Today, place your hope in Jesus and keep on praying!
- Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life! All life is found in Him!
- Have a great Thursday!
