DEVO. 07.24.25

“And just as it is appointed and destined for all men to die once and after this [comes certain] judgment," (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭27‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

- You have an appointment!

- Each and every person, man and woman, has an appointment!

- Your appointment is with death.

- I know that seems gloomy but the fact is, you can’t avoid it.

- You can do everything possible to try and delay it and postpone it but it’s coming.

- The question is… are you ready for that appointment?

- It’s a one-time appointment for this life!

- It’s the most important appointment you will ever have.

- Then comes certain judgment.

- A decision is made!

- The judgment is Heaven or hell!

- Eternal life or eternal punishment.

- The judgment is based on what you did with Jesus!

- Do you acknowledge him as the Son of God and receive his free gift of salvation?

- Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

- ‭‭To “believe” means that it’s not just something that you say with your mouth but that it is something that you live with your life!

- It’s receiving the forgiveness of sins and then living a life of gratitude for what He has done!

- It’s living and walking in the freedom that Jesus has made available to you!

- You deserved death but He has given you life!

- It has changed the way that you think and act and talk!

- He has changed everything and you are living everyday by the power of His Spirit!

- Every day is a free gift and you live in thankfulness!

- That is how you prepare for your appointment!

- Are you ready?
