DEVO. 06.19.26

“And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Endure! That is the word of the day!

- The disciples had come to Jesus wanting to know the sign of the end times.

- They said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to be fulfilled?””(Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- That’s what we all want to know, isn’t it, “When?”

- In His response, Jesus went through a number of signs including wars, rumors of war. Nation rising up against nation, earthquakes, famines.

- Then He says, “But this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.”(Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- But then Jesus gets more personal. He says, “A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed.” (Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- The question is this, when everyone and everything turns against you for following Jesus, will you still love Him?

- It’s all about your love relationship with Jesus!

- Do you love Him because of what He can do for you?

- Do you love Him out of convenience?

- Do you love Him because it is easy?

- Or, Do you love Him because He is your everything?

- Are you “IN LOVE” with Him?

- When it says, “The one who endures to the end will be saved.” The word endures means, “Stand Firm”

- Will you stand firm in His love when everyone turns against you?

- Will you hold tightly to His name when the rest of the word rejects you?

- Will you stand firm in the presence of Jesus when it cost you everything?

- Will you “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’”

- ‭‭Decide today, “Who” will get your love!

- It can’t be the World and Jesus!

- It either Or. Either the World or Jesus.

- Choose Jesus, before it gets hard, and prepare to endure to the end!
