DEVO. 05.28.26

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!””

- These shoes that you see in this picture have taken me many places.

- I was going to leave them here in Uganda and retire them at the end of this trip, but I just can’t.

- They are dirty, broken down, worn out and scuffed up!

- Josie will be so excited to hear that I am bringing them home with me!

- These shoes tell a story and hold memories.

- They have led me to many places and nations to share the Good News.

- I have preached and led many people into a commitment to make Jesus, Lord of their life.

- These shoes have heard the gospel preached over and over again!

- These shoes carry a strong anointing!

- These shoes have ministered to the sick in the hospital.

- These shoes have brought me to minister to families when their loved ones have passed away.

- These shoes have been through counseling sessions and wedding rehearsals.

- These shoes have been there when the Lost found Jesus and those trapped in addictions have been set free.

- These shoes are shoes of “readiness.”

- Ephesians 6:10, tells us that we need our “feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”

- ‭‭They are part of my armor that I wear every day and part of the armor that every Christian needs to put on!

- Readiness!

- 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”

- Are you prepared?

- Are you ready to share Jesus!

- Every day your life tells a story!

- What is the story that people hear and see?

- Your feet need to tell a story that proclaims salvation and shouts “My God reigns!”

- Put on your shoes today and get ready for what God has prepared for you!
