DEVO 05.01.25
“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us...” (Ephesians 3:20 AMP)
- Superabundant! Think about that word!
- I’m sure everyone likes abundance. It’s certainly a lot better than “lack”
- Superabundant is defined as excessive in quantity!
- What if God was to answer your prayer request excessively today? He can do it!
- Many times we pray, “Just get by prayers”
- We pray, “God, if you will just give me enough to get by or get through”
- When we do this, we fail to recognize Gods ability.
- We tend to measure God’s ability according to our ability.
- But God is not a “Just get by, God!”
- Philippians 4:19 says, “My God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
- He can fill and He wants to go beyond and he even wants to do superabundantly more, but the question is, are you going to agree with Him or are you going to agree with the spirit of poverty and lack.
- Your enemy, who wants to steal, kill and destroy, according to John 10:10, will whisper in your ear and tell you all the reasons why “you don’t deserve Gods favor” and “you shouldn’t ask for more”
- But God has already said that “He is able”
- That means that He is sitting on the edge of His seat, just waiting for someone to believe Him and ask for more!
- We have a good God who wants to bless His children, so why not ask for a superabundant blessing.
- Why not ask for the buffet instead of settling for the crackers that go with the soup.
- He has complete healing available for you.
- He has superabundant deliverance waiting for you.
- Overwhelming Victory (Physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually) is yours in Christ Jesus.
- In Matthew 7:7, Jesus says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
- Simply ask and receive and don’t settle for anything less than Gods best!
- Have a great Thursday!
