DEVO. 04.25.26

When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Aren’t you thankful that Jesus did not come for those who are perfect and think that they

have it all figured out.

- We need to thank Jesus for coming for the sinners and for the broken!

- Jesus says, “I have come to call not those who think they are righteous...”

- He has come for “...those who know they are sinners.”

- That includes me!

- Romans 3:23 says, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”

- ‭‭Everyone has sinned! There is no one who is perfect on their own.

- Praise God for the next verse: “Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

- ‭‭Jesus made a way when there was no way for you and me.

- He died for all your sins, past, present and future!

- All you have to do is confess and repent and He forgives, heals and restores!

- Never let your past sin define your present condition!

- Simply receive His forgiveness and restoration.

- All of us need to go to the doctor for a check up and an evaluation.

- Spiritually it’s the same.

- Come to the Great Physician.

- Let Doctor Jesus search you and reveal any sickness and sin within you.

- Then receive His complete healing!

- Romans 3:25 says, “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,”

- ‭‭Jesus' sacrifice is the remedy for your sin!

- Jesus did this for you!

- Thank Him!
