“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

- These are Jesus’ words. They are red letters in my Bible. - Jesus says that He is coming quickly. - This is right after addressing the church in Philadelphia. - What do you do when someone says that they are going to come over your house, soon? - You urgently prepare for their arrival, right? - You do everything that you need to do to be ready. - When someone comes to your house, you clean the dirty dishes, clean dirty laundry, you make the bed, you dust and you put things in order and you prepare. - Well, then, if Jesus is coming for the Church, which is the body of Christ, shouldn’t we be doing everything that we can do to be ready for His arrival? - We should be doing everything that we can to prepare our house, our lives, for His arrival! - Share His arrival with others. - Repent and get rid of all known and unknown sin. - Forgive everyone whom you need to forgive. - Get rid of all offenses. - Cleanse your heart and mind! - Bottom line, prepare yourself! - This is an urgent matter and Jesus warns us so that we will not be taken by surprise! - Luke 21:34 says, “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware!" - Take this alert seriously! - Be prepared and be ready! - Have a great Thursday!
