DEVO. 12.17.24

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

- What is the greatest gift that you have ever received?

- The greatest gift does not necessarily mean the most expensive gift.

- Because someone can receive the most expensive gift but there is no heart or sacrifice put into it.

- The greatest gift given must have the most heart and thought put into it and it really requires love and sacrifice.

- John 3:16 puts it most clearly.

- God, who is the greatest Father, so loved!

- The One who is love expressed the Greatest Love.

- The expression of that love was that He gave.

- The Greatest Father gave the Greatest gift which required the greatest sacrifice and came with the greatest offer and the greatest promise ever given!

- The greatest gift was His only begotten Son.

- His Son, Jesus, not only cost Him the most but He was the most valuable thing that God had.

- John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

- ‭‭God gave Love!

- His gift of love was given to those who didn’t love Him.

- Romans 5:8 says, “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

- ‭‭Gods gift of love was the greatest risk!

- When you give love, you risk rejection.

- We can either accept His love or reject His love but the gift has been given.

- This gift is in our hands.

- The greatest offer is that whoever believes in Him.

- If you believe, you belong!

- Whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

- That’s the greatest promise!

- Instead of death, you can have life!

- Instead of bondage to sin, you have freedom!

- Instead of a curse, you receive a blessing!

- This is the greatest gift exchange ever!

- Better than that, it’s a free gift!

- It cost you nothing but it cost Him everything!

- Today, the best gift is offered to you!

- Will you receive it?

- Will you share this free gift with others?
