DEVO. 12.09.24
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)
- This was the Lords message to the children of Israel, many years ago and it’s His message to you, today!
- His children had abandoned Him.
- They had been kicked out of their land.
- They were taken captive in a foreign land.
- They had failed.
- But God had not given up on them.
- God still had a plan! It was a plan of redemption!
- As God spoke through His prophet Isaiah, He needed them to see what He was seeing.
- If you are going to step into the new thing that God has for you, you must first ask for a new perspective.
- You need God’s eye glasses!
- You need His vision so that you can see what He sees.
- He says, “Do you not perceive it?”
- There’s one thing I know, you can’t move forward if you are always looking backward.
- God needed them to see!
- God needs you to see!
- We all have made mistake and we all have failures but if you keep looking at “what was”, you will never step into what “could be!”
- Your past is not your future!
- God wanted to get their eyes off of the past and put them on the future!
- He wanted to change their viewpoint from the curse of the past to the blessing of the future!
- Today, He says to you, “I am doing a new thing! Can you see it?”
- He will make a stream in the wasteland.
- He will bring life in the places that you have labeled as “Dead”
- Your worst mistakes can become the place of your greatest testimony!
- God wants to take your biggest defeat and make it your greatest victory!
- But He needs you to see it!
- You’ve got to see it before you walk in it!
- He needs you to see what he sees!
- See yourself healed!
- See yourself delivered!
- See yourself Free!
- See yourself as blessed!
- Now, it springs up!
- Have a great Monday!
