DEVO. 11.07.24

"I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint." (Habakkuk 2:1-4)

- What do you see?

- What you see is determined by where you stand!

- If you are standing in the presence of God, you will see what He sees.

- It is absolutely crucial for you to be able to see what God sees for you to be successful in your Christian walk.

- Habakkuk was an Old Testament prophet who knew that in order to speak for God, he had to be in position to hear from God.

- So he positioned himself up high and close to God so that he had God’s vision.

- If you aren't positioning yourself close to God, it means that you have to reposition yourself.

- You have to intentionally move away from where you once were.

- So the question is, where have you positioned yourself?

- Have you removed all distractions?

- Have you cleared out all doubts and fears?

- Do you believe that God can do mighty things in and through you?

- 1 Cor. 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

- For those who love Him!

- Those who have spent time with Him are those who put themselves in position to hear from Him.

- You can't even imagine what God wants to do with you and through you... it's that great!

- God stands outside of time!

- In Rev. 22:13, He says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

- He sees the "completed" you.

- He doesn't see you through your failures and mistakes.

- He doesn't see you through your weaknesses and doubts.

- He sees you through His Son, Jesus Christ!

- That's why 2 Cor. 5:17 says, "That anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"

- He sees you as more than Conqueror! (Rom. 8:37)

- He sees you as mature and complete, not lacking anything! (James 1:4)

- He sees you as righteous. ( 2 Cor. 5:21)

- He sees you as significant and able to do all things! (Phil. 4:13)

- He sees you as the light of the world. (Eph 5:8)

- He sees you as the salt of the earth. (Matt. 5:13)

- Can you see what He sees today?

- When you see what He sees, you will know what He has planned for you.

- It’s called a personal vision!

- Write it down and then run with it!

- So today, get alone with Him and wait in His presence for His God-sized vision for your life.

- Go make a difference and change your world because of who you are and what you can see!

- Have a great Thursday!
