“That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” (‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- I’m putting the emphasis on NOW! - Usually we tend to put off for later things that we think we have time for. - We say, “Why do now, what I can do later?” - We think there is always more time. - But the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time.” - Because you never no when your time is up. - “Now” is an urgent message! - He says, “Turn Now!” - The Amplified says it like this, ““Even now,” says the Lord, “Turn and come to Me with all your heart [in genuine repentance], With fasting and weeping and mourning [until every barrier is removed and the broken fellowship is restored];” - ‭I love that translation, because it describes Gods heart. - His heart is that you will discover what it means to have unbroken fellowship with Him. - God wants every single barrier that stands between you and Him removed. - Every barrier! - Our preoccupation with self. Our desires or lust for things of the world. - Our desire for acceptance or the approval of others. - God wants all of your heart, not just a piece of your heart. - And today is the day! Now is the time! - Ask yourself, what have I been putting off, which I need to deal with today? - Ask yourself “Where is there brokenness in my relationship with God?” - Investigate where barriers may exist. - Do whatever it takes while your heart is still tender towards Him! - Respond now, while you can still hear His call. - This is your Turning Day! - Have a great Wednesday!
