DEVO. 10.24.23

"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord , my rock and my redeemer." (Psalms 19:14 NLT)

- What are the things that you dwell on. - The scenarios that you run over and over again through your mind. - What occupies or takes up most of your thoughts. - Is it: - a problem? - A relationship? - money? - work? - A sickness? - Whatever it is - that is the meditation of your heart. - Jesus says, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matt.12:34) - Take some time to examine your words and your prayers. - It will point directly to your heart. - If you are not speaking blessing and praying in faith then it indicates that something is wrong in your heart. - Maybe it's lack of trust... - Or it could be a lack of faith. - Whatever it is, examine your words and determine in your Heart that you will focus on The Lord, your Rock! - Remove all gossip. - Remove doubt and fear talk. - Set your Heart on your Redeemer - The One who has Saved you and will save you. - As you focus on Him and Dwell on Him you will see it change the way you talk. - Speak of His Faith fullness. - Then you will pray with power. - Prov. 10:11 says, "The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain..." - Your words should bring life! - Your words should inspire and motivate. - Your words should encourage. - Dwell on and focus on God and His Greatness, and then speak. - Psalm 81:10 says, "For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things." - First God tells Him who He is and what He has done and then He tells Him to open His mouth to speak. - Focus on Him today ... dwell on your Rock. - Out of that abundance - let Him fill your mouth. - Speak of His Victory. - Speak Life. - Pray and speak as an Overcomer! - Believe in the Power of our Great God and then Speak it. - Have a great Tuesday!
