DEVO 10.20.22

“Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

- What does your daily walk look like?

- Have you learned to walk in the light of the Lord’s presence?

- The Amplified Version says, ““Blessed and happy are the people who know the joyful sound [of the trumpet’s blast]!”

- The sound of the trumpet was the call to worship.

- It’s a joyful sound!

- The sound of the trumpet is recognizing the Name of the Lord. It was an opportunity to celebrate God and His goodness.

- That’s why the NIV says to “Acclaim you”

- Everyone who has recognized The Lord and praised and acclaimed His name will be blessed and full of joy.

- Every morning we need to recognize and honor the name of the Lord so that we can then walk in the light of His presence.

- When you lift Him up and praise His name, regardless of your circumstances, you are giving Him an opportunity to Lead you in all of His goodness!

- Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”

- ‭‭Today, begin to call on His Name and magnify His name.

- If you need Healing then call on Jehovah Rapha, He is your Healer!

- If you need provision, then call on Jehovah Jireh, He is your Provider!

- If you are weak, then call on Jehovah Chatsahi, He is the Lord your strength!

- By calling on His name, you are acclaiming Him and recognizing that He is the source of all that you need.

- That’s what it means to, “walk in the light of His presence”

- When you call on His name, His presence and provision steps in!

- Today, learn to rejoice in His name all day long!

- Every problem that you face is simply a new opportunity to, welcome in, His presence!

- Have a great Thursday!
