“But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.” (Daniel ‭6:10‬ ‭NLT‬)

- This scripture says that when Daniel heard about the law that was signed, he went home and did what he usually did! - The law said that you could not pray! - More specifically, you could not pray to any god or man besides the king, or you would receive an immediate death sentence. - Daniel had built His life around certain principals. - At the core of his life was the principal of prayer! - Prayer was life itself! - For Daniel, not being able to pray was like not living. - And He prayed to The Lord Almighty! - He went right to the Creator and Sustainer of all things. - And he prayed to the Lord, 3 times a day! - Why did he pray 3 times a day? Because he believed in the power of prayer! - He believed that prayer worked! - How about you? - Do you believe in the power of prayer? - Does it show? - Is it your usual habit? - If it was outlawed, would do you have such a habit of prayer established, that you are unable and unwilling to stop? - Are you known for your prayer life? - If not, would you be willing to humble yourself and build some prayer principals in your life? - Would you be willing to pray 3 x’s a day? - What if you were to talk less and pray more? - What if you went on social media less and prayed more. - What if you listened to less gossip and prayed more? - What if you payed less attention to the news but prayed more? - Christian, this is the day and the hour where more prayer is needed. - Your family needs it, your church needs it, this nation needs it and you need it! - Will you be willing to stop talking about it and “Just do it”? - Have a great Weekend!
