DEVO. 10.09.24
“Jesus said to them, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
(Matthew 17: 20 NKJV)
- The disciples of Jesus were faced with a huge mountain.
- It was a mountain that wouldn’t move!
- This man brought his son to the disciples.
- This son was having seizures and suffering greatly, and even cast himself into the fire.
- The disciples could not help him.
- Their “Mountain” was unbelief!
- What they physically saw and heard was greater than what their spiritual eyes saw!
- Their unbelief was greater than their belief.
- Jesus’, spiritual eyes, saw that it was a demon and cast it out. Scripture says “he was healed from that moment.”
- Then, Jesus said, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- People in Florida this is our mountain moving moment!
- Our Mountain is named “Milton”.
- Let’s take our eyes off the natural and put it on the supernatural power of God.
- Jesus said, “You will say to this mountain”
- He didn’t say, “I (Jesus) have to speak to the mountain!
- He said, all you need is mustard seed faith!
- The smallest amount of faith and you say to Milton, “Move from here to there,’ and it will move.”
- It’s time for our mountain to move!
- Let’s open our mouth and move our mountain!
- Today is not a day of snacking and binge watching movies for me.
- Wake up, church!
- It’s a day of fasting and praying and believing that, “Nothing is impossible!”
- I am speaking to mountain Milton to move!
- However God does it!
- Whether it dissipates, changes course or just collapses, it doesn’t matter but I’m praying for Milton to move.
- Verse 4 in the NKJV says, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
- what does fasting and prayer do?
- It starves the flesh and feeds the Spirit!
- Fasting builds your faith.
- Today, feed your mustard seed faith on the power of prayer!
- Have a Mountain moving Wednesday!
