DEVO. 09.18.24
"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" (Isaiah 26:3 NLT)
- Do you need peace today?
- Do you trust in The Lord?
- Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in Perfect Peace ALL"
- It's for All who trust in Him...no exceptions.
- The peace here is a complete peace.
- It means means and undisturbed, perfect peace.
- The thing that steals out peace is usually an unexpected problem or a giant mountain of a problem.
- But "the problem" has no ability, on its own, to steal our Peace.
- It's when we "Fix" our minds on our problem.
- We give it the power to steal our peace.
- The problem becomes "All Consuming"
- It paralyzes us, mentally and emotionally!
- But when you "Fix" your thoughts on Jesus, it changes everything.
- Fixing your thoughts on Him means that you have placed your confidence in Him.
- Your mind is focused on God and His ability, not on you and your ability
- Then your life will not be disturbed when trials come.
- Its a peace that is not disturbed by changing circumstances.
- A peace that isn't affected by the economy
- A Peace that isn't thrown off by peoples words or opinions.
- It says, God will Keep you.
- He is the one who personally fills you with Peace
- The next verse says, "So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. (Isaiah 26:4 AMP)
- That's pretty powerful... It says, Commit to Him, lean on Him, Hope in Him...FOREVER.
- We are talking about physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental peace.
- A peace that takes you through every trial and difficulty.
- A peace that carries you through the storm.
- A peace that makes you feel secure.
- When you trust in Him, that is what He does for you!
- God is committed to you.
- It doesn't mean you won't face any storms or problems
- It means He will give you Peace through the storm.
- You will be protected through the problem.
- Trust in Him today with everything you face.
- He will guard you and keep you in Peace.
- Have a great Wednesday!
