DEVO. 08.31.24
“I believed in God, so I spoke.” (2 Corinthians 4:13 NLT)
- What are the words coming out of your mouth today?
- The Apostle Paul, quoting the Psalmist said, “believed in God, so I spoke.”
- Are your words filled with the grace of God and His desire to let that grace reach others?
- Verse 15 says, “As God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.”
- Your words are not just meant, to speak about the grace of God but that His Grace will be evident in the way you speak to others and that you will reach more and more people!
- In Psalm 116:12, it goes on to say, “I will lift up the cup of salvation and praise the Lord’s name for saving me.”
- Today, remember the Salvation of the Lord.
- Thank Him for saving you and redeeming you!
- Let your mouth be filled with Thanksgiving and praise for what He has done and is continuing to do.
- Remember, His Grace is not just evident in your past but His Grace is seen, today, in your present and in your future.
- Ephesians 2:8 says, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”
- But, you are a carrier of Gods Grace as you rely on His power and ability each day.
- His Grace gives you the power to do what you cannot do on your own.
- 2 Peter 3:18 says that, “You must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
- Grow in it! Not just the understanding of it but we grow through living it out!
- Today, Let your heart overflow with praise.
- Let everything you say and do be a testimony of His Mercy and Grace!
- Have a great Weekend!
