DEVO. 08.15.23

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭NLT

- We have a God who is faithful.

- The Apostle Paul says that God will do two things: He will strengthen you and guard you!

- He will strengthen you spiritually on the inside and protect you physically on the outside.

- The Lord gives you all around protection so that there is no need to live in worry or fear.

- But you’ve got to be dressed for Battle.

- In Ephesians 6 we are shown the armor of God that every believer needs to wear.

- If God provided it, then you had better wear it!

- Don’t leave your house without wearing your belt of Truth (personal integrity, moral courage).

- Remember your breastplate of righteousness!

- Put on your shoes of the Gospel of peace, so that you have a firm footing and are ready to share the gospel of peace.

- Lift up your shield of faith!

- Make sure that your head is protected with your helmet of salvation.

- And always carry with you, your offensive weapon, the Sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God!

- When you pray earnestly, you can trust in Him and expect God’s protection from all attacks from Satan.

- He has equipped you for success and He is with you to ensure your success!

- 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

- ‭‭Once again, He speaks of the faithfulness of our God.

- Trust in His provision and His power, today!

- In Hebrews 13:5 He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.””

- ‭Today is a great day to trust in the faithfulness of God!
