DEVO. 08.07.23

“And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” (‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Do you want to know the great things of God and all that He has in store for you?

- Do you want peace in the middle of chaos?

- Do you want clear guidance through the twist and turns of life?

- Well then, as a Christian, you have to know what you have received.

- “Have received” means that, it’s already been given.

- When you gave your life to Jesus, He gave you His Spirit, to live and dwell inside of you.

- Your body is the place where He dwells.

- That’s His address.

- He lives in you, “so you can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.”

- Spiritual things can only be revealed by His Spirit.

- 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “People who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.”

- ‭‭So don’t turn to worldly wisdom.

- God has give you someone greater and wiser on the inside of you!

- Ask the Lord, today for wisdom!

- Open your heart to His instruction.

- Live by His Spirit and be guided by His Spirit.

- He says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. But…God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” (V. 9&10)

- ‭‭There are the wonderful things that He wants you to know and walk in!
