DEVO. 08.03.23

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (‭Isaiah 41:10 NIV‬)

- These words were spoken over the children of Israel when they were in exile. - God is reminding them of who He is and who they are to Him. - If they would turn to Him and trust in Him, then they would have nothing to fear. - He said, “Do not fear” - The reason was, because He was with them! - In Romans 8:31, the Apostle Paul says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” - The promises found in Isaiah 41 can be claimed by any Believer today because you are God’s chosen servant. - You don’t need to fear and storm, any person or any situation because GOD IS WITH YOU! - You are valuable to Him! - He gives the grace and strength needed to face any and all of life’s circumstances! - When you have a crisis, He is your source of peace! - He will strengthen you and sustain you because He is your advocate! - In verse 13, the Lord says, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” - He sees you and you are important to Him. - ‭Can you feel His touch this morning?‬ - If not, surrender to His touch. - Surrender your fears and allow Him to take hold of your right hand. - Listen to His voice as He says, “Do not fear; I will help you.” - Today, simply say, “I will not fear because He is with me and He is helping me.” - Memorize these verses and repeat them all throughout the day! - Let these verses sink in deep into your spirit until you believe them! - Have a great Thursday!
