“So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭6:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Exactly as God commanded! - When was the last time that you can say that you did exactly what the Lord said. - Noah and the people of the earth had never seen rain before - God revealed to Noah that He was going to destroy the earth with a great flood. - But God was going to spare Noah and his family by building an ark. - In Genesis 6: 15, God says, “Make the boat 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.” - ‭‭This is one BIG Boat! - Imagine if Noah was worried about what people would say about him. - What if He tried to hide the boat by covering it with branches and leaves. - You would say, “That is ridiculous and impossible!” and you are right! - But that is what it is like when you try to hide your faith in Jesus. - That is what it would be like to not stand out and stand up for your faith. To just fit in with everyone else. - The ark is your faith! - The ark stood out. - Your faith is meant to stand out! - Your faith is meant to grab peoples attention. - People mocked and ridiculed Noah. - You will be mocked and ridiculed. - But the ark saved Noah and His family just like your faith will bring salvation to those closest to you who believe and accept the message of Jesus Christ. - Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” - Today, Let your light shine! - Have a great Tuesday!
