- If we are going to live a victorious life, an abundant life, fulfilling all of our God-given potential, then we must realize that it is only through Christ. - In Colossians 3:4, the apostle Paul says, “And when Christ, who is your life...” - He so identified with Christ that he said “He is my life.” - Think about that statement. Can you say that? - If Christ is your life then you think like him, talk like him, and act like. - You will do the things that Jesus did. - You will handle the challenges and obstacles in front of you the same way that he did. - You will have a confident and peaceful presence. - You will speak peace to the storm. - But the only way that you get there is by spending time in His presence. - The more that you are with someone, the more you become like them. - If you spend all of your time in the world then you’ll adopt it’s mindset, habits and attitudes. - You will have a stressed out life full of fear and confusion. - It rubs off on you. - But if you spend time in His Word and prayer, then it will rub off on you. - Look at what Paul says in Philippians 4:6-7, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” - Do you see how he ends that? - “As you live in Christ Jesus” - It is all found in Him! - If you want peace, seek after the Prince of peace. - If you want an abundant life then seek after the Giver of life! - The real life that you are looking for, is found in Him! - Begin spending time in His presence, so that, you too can say that His life is your life. - Have a great Weekend!
