DEVO 06.17.22

“When all the people saw it, they fell face downward; and they said, “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!””

(‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭18:39‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

- This portion of scripture says, “When all the people saw it”

- What did they see?

- They saw a demonstration of God’s power!

- They saw God answer!

- They saw the activity of God!

- But keep in mind, you will never see God’s answer if you don’t call on His name.

- You will never see the activity of God if you are not willing to stick your neck out and rely on God!

- You will not see the revelation of His presence and power if you are unwilling to take a risk.

- God is looking for people who are willing to risk it all and call on His name!

- He’s the God who answers with Fire!

- And it says, “they said, “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!”

- The repetition indicates that they shouted it loudly!

- These are the same people who had no voice in verse 21.

- Verse 21 says, that when the people were questioned on how long they would waver between two opinions, “The people said nothing.”

- One man called on God!

- One man had boldness!

- God answered and this demonstration of His power gave all the people a voice!

- One voice led to all the voices!

- Will you be willing to go against the flow?

- Will you call out to God when no one else is?

- Will you trust Him when everyone else is discrediting Him?

- One voice led to revival of “All the people”

- Will you be the one?
