“Those who love Your law have great peace; Nothing makes them stumble. [Prov 3:2; Is 32:17]” (Psalms 119:165 AMP)
- Do you want your have peace in your life?
- Not just ordinary peace, but Great Peace!
- This Psalm says that those who love the law of the Lord will have Great Peace!
- Peace that can take them through any struggle.
- Peace that helps them when the storm comes!
- Peace that keeps them stable when everyone around them is shaken!
- A Great Peace!
- How can you discover this peace?
- You discover it in the Word of God!
- That’s what made our mission so important!
- Over and over again in Psalm 119 it talks about the love for Gods written Word.
- But how can you love something if you don’t have it written in your language.
- It’s only when someone values you, and the Word of God enough that they put it in your language that you have the opportunity to fall in love with it!
- Psalm 119 deals with the Word as a “promise, command, guide, testimony, teaching, wisdom, truth, righteousness and rebuke.”
- The Psalmist calls it his “comfort, protection, treasure, rule for life, delight, and resource for all of His needs!”
- These are the benefits of reading God’s Word.
- All of these truly give you peace and lead you into a relationship with the Prince of Peace, Jesus!
- Today, let’s thank God that more people have been touched by His Word and have a chance to experience Perfect Peace for themselves!
- Let’s never take for granted that we have the source for Perfect peace, right in our own home.
- Let’s continue our efforts to share and spread His Word to those who don’t have it and desperately need it!
