- Here’s a good question to ask yourself today, “Am I going to do a good thing or am I going to do a God thing, today?” - Jesus Himself, the Son of God, said that, He “can do nothing by himself”. That means, of his own accord, or choosing. - Jesus never said, “That would be a nice thing to be involved in, let me go and do it.” - Jesus never said, “I think I should do this” - No! He could only do the thing that God had prepared for Him... The God Thing! - I think many times we become victims of our own good efforts. - We set out to accomplish a lot of good things but never accomplish Gods thing. - We miss the mark. - And you know what missing the mark is called. It’s called a sin. - God has not asked you to do a lot of good things. - He asks you to do His thing. - Look and see where God is working. - Search to discover the things that God has prepared and planned. - You will have to spend some time in His presence. - You will have to wait on the Lord and get away with Him. - You will have to slow down all of your activity. - But I am sure of this, when you do His work, His way and in His timing, you will never regret it! - You will make an eternal impact! - You will feel like you just accomplished something that was beyond you! - It will be like accomplishing something on earth as it is in Heaven! - That what He has planned for you and you don’t want to miss it! - Today, don’t set out to accomplish a lot of good things. - Set out to accomplish a God thing! - Have a great Thursday!
