"The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting ..." (Acts 3:5)

- Have you become a victim of the "Ordinary"?

- You've heard it said, "You get what you expect."

- What are you expecting from God today, this week, or this year?

- Do you have high expectations, or are you just going through the motions expecting the same thing as yesterday.

- It is so easy for us to spiritually get in our ordinary routines and expectations, but we serve a God who is Extraordinary and always produces Extraordinary results!

- In this verse, Peter & John come across a beggar.

- He had been lame since birth.

- He did what he had always done and expected the "Possible"

- What God had available for Him was the "Impossible"!

- Look at this verse in context, "Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”

- He expected “Ordinary”, but what he received was “extraordinary”.

- He expected the “Natural” but God added the “SUPER” onto the “NATURAL”.

- Do you realize that your expectancy is an open door for God's miracle.

- God wants you to combine your Expectancy with His Power by faith

- Don’t let your past failure, discouragements or defeat, taint your view of what God can do for you and through you, today.

- Do you realize that God has MORE for you today?

- This man thought he needed a monetary handout, but he actually received something money could not purchase = a miraculous healing!

- God knows what you need so much better than you.

- Forget about thoughts in your mind like, "This is how It's always been done."

- If you can combine your Expectancy with Faith, God will do more than you could Ever imagine!

- 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”

- It's time to stretch your faith.

- It's time to believe that God has more for you!

- The lame man, “jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them."

- You are about to jump into new things that God has for you!

- Your walking is about to turn into leaping and Praising!

- Expect more Today! Have Faith for more today!

- Throw off the common, and ordinary expectations for average answers from God.

- Expect God to do the unexpected!

- The result will be God getting praised and Him receiving all the Honor!
