DEVO. 04.04.23

"But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence." (Luke 11:8)

- Do you have a need, right now, that only Jesus can meet?

- Have you wondered if your prayers are making any difference?

- Never Give up!

- At this very moment, maybe the moment of your breaking point, God wants you to be "Shamelessly Persistent"

- He is telling you to muster up the energy and faith and be shameless in your asking.

- Shameless means that you don't care what anyone thinks about you.

- Your mind may be telling you to give up, or try something else.

- People may have told you that what you are asking is ridiculous

- You may have even told yourself.

- But God says, don't worry about what you look like or sound like to others.

- Your persistence demonstrates, all the more, your complete reliance on God for the answer.

- You are saying, God you are my Source!

- God, You are my Start and Finish

- It all begins with you and ends with you.

- Jesus, you are Lord!

- Lord over my problems

- Lord over my future

- Lord over my relationships

- Lord over my finances

- Being shamelessly Persistent doesn't mean you are weak...It means that you are getting stronger!

- It is stirring up your faith!

- Its saying, "In Him I live and move and have my being."

- You are putting all your eggs in one basket, so to speak, and that basket is your Creator and Designer!

- Today, cast ALL your cares upon Him.

- He doesn't mind, He actually tells you to!

- He says, "if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need."

- He says, "Whatever"

- Instead of "giving up" how about "Pressing In" and going beyond your normal breaking point.

- Your "Pushing Through" right now is getting His attention.

- Let your faith rise this morning!

- He is getting up to open that door.

- Right now He is preparing to give you what you have prepared yourself for.

- Look at what the next verse says, (verse 10) “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened."

- Tell yourself, EVERYONE means ME!

- Today, be Shamelessly Persistent!

- God bless you, have a great Tuesday!
