DEVO. 03.22.23

“And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- “AS SOON” as they landed!

- That’s a powerful phrase.

- They didn’t wait. They didn’t pack their bags.

- They didn’t say their “Goodbyes” or have a “Going away Party”

- Jesus had so impacted their life that they no longer were satisfied with their old life!

- They couldn’t go back!

- They were completely changed by Jesus.

- They knew that they would never be satisfied by going back to who they once were and doing the same old thing.

- Jesus changed them!

- He placed a yearning in them for more!

- They knew that every step forward with Jesus would be better.

- They had been touched by the miraculous!

- They saw that Healing was possible!

- They saw that any life could be changed!

- They had to go where their Messiah, Jesus, was going!

- Their real life just experienced an awakening!

- They could not return to their average, everyday lifestyle anymore because that would not be living!

- How about you?

- Are there things in your life which you have slowly been dealing with?

- Things that you have allowed to stop you from following Him?

- Are there addictions or habits which you have allowed to hold you back?

- Why not abandon it all for the sake of gaining Christ?

- Stop the slow change and go for the immediate transformation!

- Do an “About Face”… an immediate turn-around.

- 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

- Let go of all of the old and step into the New!

- A New life, New Dreams, New Victories, New Hope, New Peace!

- Your Spiritual Awakening has brought a new life!

- You’ll Never look back again!
