DEVO. 02.27.23

“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.””

‭‭(Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

- This man was desperate! He brought his son to Jesus, who had been possessed by an evil spirit since He was young.

- He loves his son and is willing to do whatever it takes to set him free.

- He said, “Wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”” (Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭18‬)

- This man brought his son to Jesus’ disciples and they couldn’t help him.

- Then the man’s says, “If You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.””

- ‭‭I love Jesus’ response in verse 23, “If you can?” As if to say, of course I can, I just need you to bring your faith to the level of belief that I can set your son free!

- So how about you?

- What has been crushing to your faith?

- Has it been a long ongoing problem, like this man?

- Has it been people or doctors inability to help?

- Has you Faith been affected by everything that you have seen and experienced?

- Jesus says to you today, “All things are possible to him who believes.”

- It means getting rid of your doubts and fear and putting all of your hope and trust in Jesus and His power.

- Get your eyes off the problem and place them on your All Sufficient Provider.

- Romans 8:11 says that “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.”

- That means that resurrection power is available to you!

- So instead of looking at how long your problem has been going on and how big of a problem it is, realize that the power of the Holy Spirit is greater.

- You have the power to cast out any demon, set captives free and Heal the sick, in Jesus name!

- Stop doubting and believe!

- Believe that Jesus is greater than any sickness regardless of how long it has gone on.

- Jesus is more powerful than anything that stands in your way.

- Jesus says, All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts in Me and the power of my Holy Spirit!

- Today can be your day of Victory!
