DEVO 02.13.24

DEVO. 02.13.24

”The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have asked; for you have found favor (lovingkindness, mercy) in My sight and I have known you [personally] by name.” (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

- Do you realize how powerful this is?

- The Lord said to Moses, “I will do what you asked”

- Let that sink in!

- Why did he do what Moses asked?

- Because Moses didn’t ask for another sign… Actually, he had seen the greatest signs!

- Moses wasn’t asking for another miracle.

- Moses had seen all the miracles that God could possibly do.

- But Moses was still not satisfied!

- Moses was asking for the Lord‘s presence!

- I’ve been dwelling on this for about a day and it has captivated me.

- Moses was not satisfied, unless he had more of the Lord’s presence!

- A deeper revelation!

- Basically, he is saying “Lord, all I want and need is you”

- When was the last time, that the Lord rescued you, delivered you, or performed the miracle for you, and you still wanted more of Him?

- I think most of us would say, “That’s good, that’s enough. Thank you, Lord!”

- But that wasn’t enough for Moses.

- Moses had to have the presence of the Lord with him, or it was all worthless!

- Moses was pushing the envelope for more!

- I want the type of walk that Moses had with the Lord!

- The Lord answered Him because He knew the Lord by name!

- The Lord said to Moses, “I will cause all My goodness to pass before you, and call out the Name of Adonai before you.”

- Moses was not satisfied with an ordinary relationship with the Lord.

- He wanted all that He could get and the Lord gave it to him.

- Let me encourage you, today, to “Press in for More!”

- Don’t become satisfied with the level of relationship that you have with Him, now.

- Go deeper, and call out for a greater revelation of who He is!

- Ask, and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking! (Matthew 7:7)

- Have a great Tuesday!
